  1. Spay skillet with cooking spray. Add beef, carrot and onion; cook until beef is browned. Add flour and cook 1-2 minutes.
  2. Stir in beef stock and heat to boiling. Transfer to slow cooker.
  3. Add remaining ingredients, except mushrooms and wine. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours. Add mushrooms and wine during the last hour of cooking. Discard bay leaf.
