Slow Cooked Swiss Steak Supper

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lbs boneless round steak, cut into 6 serving pieces
- 1⁄2 teaspoon seasoning salt
- 6 -8 new potatoes, cut into quarters
- 1 1⁄2 cups baby carrots
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 (14 1/2ounce) can diced tomatoes with basil oregano and garlic, undrained
- 1 (12 ounce) jar homestyle beef gravy
- chopped fresh parsley, if desired
Directions
- Spray 12-inch skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium-high heat. Sprinkle beef with seasoned salt. Cook in skillet 6-8 minutes, turning once, until browned. Layer potatoes, carrots, beef and onion in a 4-5 quart slow cooker. Mix tomatoes and gravy; spoon over mixture in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat setting 7-8 hours or until beef and veggies are tender. Sprinkle with parsley if desired.
