Slow Cooked Beef

Ingredients
- 1 piece beef roast
- 2 large onions, peeled and cut in half
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1⁄4 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup merlot (or other red wine)
- 1⁄2 cup beef stock
- 1 teaspoon mixed herbs
Directions
- Place onions in bottom of crockpot, and place the piece of beef on top.
- Combine garlic, sauce, wine, and stock in a small jug, and pour over the beef.
- Sprinkle herbs on top, and cook on low for 4 hours, or until done to your liking., basting frequently with the liquid from the crockpot.
- Serve with roasted vegetables and yorkshire pudding.
