  1. Cut meat into 1/4 inch thick slices and pound slightly.
  2. Cut potatoes in thick slices.
  3. Heat butter, saute onion and brown meat on all sides.
  4. Place in layers with other ingredients in a casserole.
  5. Pour water into frying pan. Stir and add liquid to casserole. Add beer.
  6. Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour until meat is tender. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
