Skillet BBQ Beans

Ingredients
- 3 slices bacon, chopped
- 1⁄2 large sweet onion, chopped
- 30 -38 ounces pinto beans or 30 -38 ounces pink beans, rinsed and drained
- 3⁄4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1⁄4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
Directions
- In 12-inch skillet, cook bacon, on medium 4 minutes. Add sweet onion, and cook 8 minutes or until onion is tender and lightly browned. Add beans, barbecue sauce, water, and mustard.
- Simmer, uncovered, on medium-low 5 minutes to blend flavors and thicken slightly.
