Single Serving Hot Buttered Rum

Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 ounces rum (I prefer dark but suit yourself)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- nutmeg (to garnish)
Directions
- Heat milk almost to a boil in microwave or in a pot on the stove. Do not boil it!
- Combine sugar, cinnamon stick and rum in pre-heated, heatproof mug and stir until sugar is dissolved.
- Add milk, top with butter and a dash of nutmeg.
