  1. Line a 15x10 inch baking pan with foil, extending over edges.
  2. In 3 qt saucepan, melt butter.
  3. Stir in sugar, corn syrup, and 1/3 cup WATER.
  4. Cook on med-hi to boiling, stirring gently, until sugar is dissolved.
  5. Clip on candy thermometer.
  6. Cook on med heat, stirring often, to 290 degrees.
  7. Remove thermometer.
  8. Spread in pan.
  9. Cool 5 minutes.
  10. Sprinkle with chocolate, let stand 2 minutes.
  11. Spread chocolate, top with nuts.
  12. Press nuts into chocolate.
  13. Cool until set.
