Simple yet Elegant Dipped Cherries

Yields: 5 dozen

Ingredients

  • 2 (10 ounce) jars maraschino cherries, with stems drained
  • 1 (12 ounce) package  semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Drain the cherries completely on paper towels. Place the chocolate chips in a heavy medium saucepan. Heat over low heat until chocolate is melted, stirring constantly. Don't let the chocolate get too hot! Remove from the heat and dip cherries into chocolate, swirling to coat completely. Place them on waxed a paperlined baking sheet.
  2. Refrigerate until set and enjoy!
  3. Makes about 5 dozen.
