Simple Tuna Pate

Yields: 4 cups
Ingredients
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened (2-8 ounce packages)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 12 ounces albacore tuna, drained (1 large can or 2 regular sized cans)
- 2 tablespoons onion soup mix
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped (or dill or basil, your preference)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 10 dashes hot sauce (or to taste)
Directions
- In a large bowl blend softened cream cheese with mayonnaise until smooth.
- Flake the well-drained tuna into the bowl.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes for the flavours to blend and the dried onion to soften.
- Mix again before serving.
