Simple Rosemary Shortbread

Yields: 48 cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups salted butter
- 2⁄3 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 3⁄4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons white sugar (for sprinkling on top)
Directions
- Cream butter & 2/3 c sugar until light & fluffy.
- Blend in flour and rosemary.
- Form into 3-4 dough cylinders and refrigerate.
- When you're ready to bake a cylinder, remove from refrigerator and slice into1/4" or so slices.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 9 minutes.
- Immediately sprinkle with white sugar.
