Ingredients
- 1 quart beet
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon powdered allspice
Directions
- Cook beets (skins on and scrubbed), cool and peel.
- Prepare solution.
- Put beets in jars.
- Pour solution over beets.
- Seal jars.
