Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Sift together flour and salt.
  3. Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients .
  4. Add olive oil, melted butter, water, milk, and egg.
  5. Fold dry ingredients into liquids to form a dough, about 10 minutes.
  6. Tear off pieces of dough, make a long rope, ring ends of "rope" together to make a circle.
  7. Place circle on greased cookie sheet.
  8. Brush with milk.
  9. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  10. Repeat with remaining dough.
  11. Bake for 30 minutes, or until simit become a golden brown color and crispy on top.
