Sidesaddle Pork 'n' Beans

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 lb bulk pork sausage
- 1⁄3 cup chopped onion
- 15 3⁄4 ounces pork and beans
- 1⁄4 cup barbecue sauce
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1⁄8 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 1⁄8 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
- 1⁄8 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1⁄8 teaspoon cajun seasoning
Directions
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the beans, barbecue sauce, honey, ketchup and seasonings. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5-8 minutes or until slightly thickened.
