Sicilian Sausage Stacks #Ragu

Directions

  1. Placel the sausage patties and polenta slices on a baking sheet 8 inches from the heat source and broil 10-12 minutes per side or till the sausage tests done.
  2. Meanwhile in a small saucepan combine the Ragu sauce, capers, currants, zest and parsley; heat till warmed through.
  3. Make 4 stacks starting with a polenta slice followed by a sausage patty, arugula and cheese.
  4. Return to the broiler and cook 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese.
  5. Divide the sauce among 4 plates and top with a sausage stack, then garnish with the nuts.
