Shrimp With Beer

Ingredients
- 3 lbs shrimp, peel on
- 5 garlic cloves, peeled
- 6 whole allspice
- 1 dried red hot pepper
- salt & freshly ground black pepper
- 1 bay leaf
- 6 sprigs fresh parsley
- 2 sprigs fresh dill
- 1 (12 ounce) can beer
LEMON BUTTER
- 1⁄4 lb butter
- 1⁄2 lemon, juice of
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- salt & freshly ground black pepper
- 1 garlic clove, lightly crushed
Directions
- Combine ingredients (to and including beer) in a heavy saucepan and cover. Bring to boil and let simmer 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Serve with lemon butter.
- Lemon Butter: In a small skillet, heat butter until hot and almost bubbling. Stir in remaining ingredients and serve.
