Shrimp & Pea medley with Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1  teaspoon cornstarch
  • 12 cup water
  • 1  tablespoon white wine or 1  tablespoon chicken broth
  • 1 12 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 12 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 (10 ounce) package  frozen peas
  •  ramen noodles, 2 packages (seafood flavored if available, saving 1 packet of seasoning)
  • 34 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3  green onions, thinly sliced

Directions

  1. Combine cornstarch, water, wine, soy sauce, ginger, and frozen peas with the seasoning packet from the ramen noodles.
  2. Simmer, covered for 5 minutes.
  3. Add shrimp and onions, simmer, covered for 3 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, cook the 2 packages of ramen noodles in 4 cups boiling water for 2 minutes, drain.
  5. Divide noodles among 4 plates, top with shrimp mixture.
