My mom's recipe and my favorite. This will feed the whole family and we like a lot of sauce. To reduce the fat we sometimes combine fat free sour cream and regular. Show more

  1. Melt butter in skillet- add onion, green pepper & garlic. Cook until tender but not brown. Stir in sour cream, lemon juice & all other seasonings. Add Shrimp, cook over low heat, stirring until thoroughly heated. (Note: Don't let it boil or it will be very thin.) Feeds 4-5 people.
  2. Serve over Saffron Yellow Rice {(2) 5oz bags}.
