Shrimp Cocktail with Spicy Bloody Mary Sauce

Recipe does not include chill time for the shrimp. I have never made this recipe because I do not like hard liquor but it is definitely a good recipe for someone who does. It truly does look delicious! Show more

Directions

  1. Combine horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, celery seeds, red pepper flakes, cocktail sauce and vodka.
  2. Mix well and chill.
  3. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, heat wine, lemon juice and red pepper flakes.
  4. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
  5. Poach shrimp just until pink and curled, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  6. Place on ice and refrigerate.
  7. When completely chilled, season lightly with salt and serve with sauce.
