Shrimp and Grits

Spicy shrimp sauteed in garlic butter over creamy cheesy grits.

  1. Over medium heat bring water to boil.
  2. Add salt & whisk in grits.
  3. Let grits cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Mix in butter, milk, and cheese.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Peel and devined shrimp.
  7. Cover shrimp with Old Bay Seasoning.
  8. In large skillet, melt butter.
  9. Grated garlic into the melted butter.
  10. Add cream, let sauce cook for 5 minutes.
  11. Add shrimp, cook for 6-7 minutes or until shrimp is pink.
  12. Top grits with shrimp.
  13. Enjoy!
