Shirley's Homemade Biscuits

Yields: 8-12 biscuits, depending on size you make them
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt (scant)
- 2 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3⁄4 cup milk
- 1⁄4 cup shortening
Directions
- Mix together, and roll out into a floured surface, to about 1/2" thick.
- Use a round cutter or glass dipped in flour, to cut out biscuits.
- Place on greased pan, and bake at 450 oven,.
- about 12-15 minutes, or until brown on top.
