Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground deer meat
- 1 lb ground pork
- 2 large onions
- 3 cups water
- 1 (29 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 (15 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 bay leaves
- 2 tablespoons italian seasoning
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1⁄2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon seasoning salt
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
Directions
- In a large pot, brown the deer and pork.
- Spoon off excess grease, but do not drain completely.
- Add onions and cook until tender.
- Add 3 cups water,tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, garlic, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, soy sause, salt, black pepper, garlic powder and seasoned salt.
- Cook covered for 20-25 minutes.
- Add the Elbow Macaroni, cover and continue to simmer for about 20 minutes.
- Turn off the heat, remove the bay leaves and let sit about 30 minutes.
