Sesame Pecan Pie

Ingredients
- 1 pie crust
- 1⁄4 cup sesame seeds, toasted
- 3 eggs
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄3 cup melted butter
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecan halves
Directions
- Line a 9 inch pie plate with pastry.
- Sprinkle sesame seeds evenly over the bottom of pie crust.
- Beat eggs until light and fluffy.
- Add sugar, salt, butter, corn syrup and vanilla; continue to beat until well mixed.
- Gently stir in pecans. Pour into pastry.
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until set and pastry is nicely browned.
