Sesame Macaroons

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup sesame seeds, toasted
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 2 egg whites
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon almond extract
Directions
- Pulverize sesame seeds in blender or with mortar and pestle.
- Add cream of tartar to egg whites; beat until stiff.
- Gradually add sugar, beating well after each addition.
- Fold in sesame seeds and almond extract.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheet.
- Bake at 250 for 30 minutes.
