Sesame Fried Potatoes

Ingredients
- 1 3⁄4 lbs potatoes
- 3 tablespoons flour
- salt, to taste
- fresh ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1⁄4 cup sesame seeds
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 3 tablespoons oil, for shallow frying
- chopped fresh chives or chopped fresh parsley leaves, garnish
Directions
- Cook potatoes in boiling water 10 minutes or until they begin to soften.
- Drain and cut into 1/2" slices.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt and pepper.
- Toss potatoes to coat.
- In another bowl, mix egg and milk.
- In a third bowl, place the sesame seeds.
- Heat oil in frying pan; fry potato slices in a single layer for 2-3 minutes on each side.
- Serve hot, garnished with chives(I like the oniony flavor) or parsley.
