Self-Filled Cupcakes

Ingredients
- 1 (18 1/2ounce) package devil's food cake
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1⁄3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 dash salt
Directions
- Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Spoon batter into paper-lined muffin pans, filling 2/3 full.
- In separate bowl, combine cream cheese and sugar - creaming until light and fluffy. Add egg and salt - beating well, stir in chocolate chips.
- Spoon one heaping teaspoon of cream cheese mixture onto center of each cupcake.
- Bake at 350F for 25 minutes.
- Cool in pan for 20 minutes.
