Scrumptious Hazelnut Cookies

Wonderful cookie to go with a cup of tea.

• Yields: 24-36 cookies

Ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup butter
• 1  cup sugar
• 1  teaspoon vanilla
• 1  egg
• 2  cups flour
• 2  cups  finely chopped hazelnuts
• 1  tablespoon baking powder

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Cream together butter and sugar.
3. Add vanilla and egg.
4. In a seperate bowl mix flour, hazelnuts and baking powder together.
5. Add to butter mixture.
6. Roll dough into a 1 inch roll.
7. Cut into 1/4 inch thickness.
8. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
