Scottish Sheet Cake

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1⁄2 cup oleo
- 1⁄4 cup Crisco
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 cup hot water
- 1⁄2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- Sift flour and sugar together, set aside.
- Bring 1 cup water to a boil.
- Mix oleo, Crisco, and cocoa together.
- Stir in flour and sugar mixture.
- Blend in boiling water.
- Add buttermilk, soda, eggs, and vanilla.
- Pour mix into baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Ice with Scottish icing.
