Scottish Mince 'n Tatties

  1. Brown ground beef and onion in skillet over medium heat. Drain fat.
  2. Make a small well in the center of the meat, and add the gravy mix and water.
  3. Stir until gravy boils and thickens.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, mushrooms, salt and pepper.
  5. Heat through and turn down to low to keep warm.
  6. Adjust the seasonings with more salt and pepper, if you like.
  7. With a ricer or a potato masher, mix the boiled potatoes with the butter, milk and salt to taste.
  8. Serve the meat with the potatoes. It's good with peas!
