Scallops Linguini

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1⁄2 lb mushroom, quartered
- 1⁄2 cup dry white wine
- 1 tablespoon chopped shallot
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
- 3⁄4 lb bay scallop
- 3⁄4 cup thick white sauce
- 1⁄2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 12 -16 ounces cooked linguine
White sauce
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 1⁄4 tablespoons flour
- 1 1⁄4 cups hot milk
- 1⁄4 cup onion, minced
- 1⁄4 teaspoon clove
- 1⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
Directions
- Heat butter in skillet.
- Add mushrooms, wine, shallots, cheese and parsley.
- Cook over medium heat for 3-4 minutes,.
- Stir in scallops and continue cooking 2 minutes.
- Pour in white sauce; season and cook 1 minute.
- Serve over cooked linguini.
