Scalloped Mushrooms (L-C-F)

Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 lbs fresh mushrooms
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 1⁄2 cup heavy cream
- salt
- red and black pepper
- 1 1⁄2 cups monterey jack cheese, grated
Directions
- Saute mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes.
- Add cream and cook until liquid is almost gone, about 10 minutes.
- Add seasoning and pour into buttered casserole, cover with cheese.
- Bake at 400F just until cheese melts, about 10 to 15 minutes.
