Scalloped Clam, Nantucket Style

Ingredients

  • 2  cups  minced clams with juice
  • 1  cup  cracker crumb
  • 1  cup milk (or half-and-half)
  • 14 cup  melted butter
  • 12 teaspoon pepper
  • 1  egg, beaten

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together and let stand for 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  3. Transfer to a buttered casserole and bake for 45 minutes.
