Scalloped Cabbage Recipe

Homey comforting cabbage dish.

Ingredients

  • 1  head cabbage
  • 1 (15 ounce) jar  Cheez Whiz
  • 1 (11 ounce) can  cream of chicken soup
  • 1  jalapeno, seeded and minced
  • 14 cup milk
  •  paprika

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Slice cabbage into eight wedges, removing core.
  3. Boil or steam wedges about 10 minutes until done but still slightly firm. Drain completely and place in a buttered 9 x 13-inch dish.
  4. Mix Cheez Whiz, cream of chicken soup, and milk. Pour over the top of the cabbage.
  5. Sprinkle with paprika and bake for 30 minutes until golden.
