  1. Peel, core and slice apples.
  2. Melt butter in a small saucepan and add cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice and brown sugar.
  3. Heat until sugar is melted.
  4. Place apples in a baking dish and pour mixture over apples.
  5. Sprinkle pecans over top and bake for 45 minutes at 350°.
