Savoury Scones

Yields: 12-15 scones
Ingredients
- 2 cups self raising flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 medium onion, grated
- 1 cup tasty cheese, grated
- 1 medium carrot, grated
- 1⁄2 cup chopped parsley, grated
- 30 g butter, melted
- 3⁄4 cup milk
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- salt and pepper
- 1⁄2-1 teaspoon mustard
Directions
- Mix together the butter, milk, egg and seasoning in a small jug. Put all other ingredients into a bowl and pour the butter mix over other ingredients and mix to a wet dough.
- Drop full tablespoon's onto a baking tray and cook at 350-400C for 20-25 minutes.
