Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon onion salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon oregano
- 1⁄4 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 1⁄4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine, melted
Directions
- Mix together first seven ingredients; set aside.
- Mix together egg, milk, and butter; add to dry ingredients.
- Stir until just moistened.
- Pour batter into a greased 8x4 inch loaf pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
