Sauteed Apples

Found on the back of a brown sugar bag, this tastes exactly like the apples at Cracker Barrel. Can be used as a side dish, on ice cream or over French Toast. Show more

  1. Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat. Add sliced apples and sauté until almost tender, 6 minutes.
  2. Stir in brown sugar, water and cinnamon. Boil 4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and serve warm.
