Sausage Pizza Snack

I got this recipe in High School Home Ec. class mannnnny years ago. I only eat it on crackers never have tried it on the french bread. Preparation and cooking time are a guess. Show more

Yields: 40 crackers

  1. Shape sausage by teaspoonfuls.
  2. Cook over medium heat until pink is gone.
  3. Pour off any grease.
  4. Add remaining ingredients except cheese and crackers.
  5. Cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
  6. Spread on crackers.
  7. Top with grated cheese.
  8. Bake in 350* oven until cheese is melted.
  9. Serve hot.
  10. Pizza mix may be stored in refrigerator 2 to 3 days before serving.
  11. French bread may be substituted for crackers.
  12. Slicing lengthwise before spreading with mixture.
