Sausage Noodle Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 lb bulk sausage
- 12 ounces egg noodles
- 1 medium green pepper, diced
- 14 1⁄2 ounces diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon chili powder (optional)
- grated parmesan cheese
Directions
- Boil a pot of salted water and prepare noodles according to package directions.
- In a frying pan, brown sausage. Drain fat.
- Add remaining ingredients (except cheese) to the meat and simmer about 10 minutes.
- When noodles are done, drain and place in serving bowl.
- Remove bay leaf. Add meat mixture to noodles and toss to incorporate together.
- Serve with grated parmesan cheese.
