Sausage and Noodles

Ingredients
- 13 1⁄2 ounces johnsonville andouille sausages, sliced thinly
- one red pepper, roughly chopped
- one yellow pepper, roughly chopped
- one green pepper, roughly chopped
- one half pint heavy cream
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon garlic
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 8 ounces tricolor rotini pasta
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons oil (I used bacon fat)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
- Saute peppers, sausage, onion and garlic about 5 minutes, until onion is soft. Add red pepper flakes.
- Add pasta, water 1/2 cup cream. Simmer about 20 minutes until pasta is done.
- Add in remaining cream and cheese. Stir to melt.
- Serve.
