Sausage and Apples

I know, it sounds totally gross! That's what I thought the first time I heard of it too. It took a LOT of prompting for me to even take a bite. Now my entire family begs for my Uncle to make this for our family get togethers! Just try it.

• Serves: 4

Ingredients

• 1 (20 ounce) can  apple pie filling
• 1⁄4 cup water
•  ground nutmeg
• 1 (10 ounce) package  fully cooked and browned  sausage patties

Directions

1. Spoon pie filling into crockpot.
2. Stir in water; sprinkle with nutmeg.
3. Top with sausages; cover.
4. Cook on low 4-6 hours.
