Saucy Round Steak for a Crowd

Ingredients

  • 17  lbs  round steaks
  • 34 lb flour
  • 1 12 lbs onions, peeled and chopped
  • 1  lb green pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1  lb celery, chopped
  • 1  lb carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 8 (10 1/4ounce) cans  cream of mushroom soup
  •  salt
  •  pepper
  • 4  cups water

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut steaks to serving sizes.
  3. Roll steak in flour, salt and pepper mixture.
  4. Brown steak in a fry pan with small amount of oil.
  5. Layer a large baking pan with meat then vegetables; repeat until meat and vegetables are gone.
  6. Cover with the cans of soup.
  7. Bake several hours (3-4) or until meat falls apart.
