Saucepan Stuffing

Yields: 2 cups
Ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup diced celery
- 2 tablespoons chopped onions
- 1 grated carrot
- 1⁄2 apple, chopped
- 1⁄2 cup chicken stock
- 1⁄2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 2 cups dry whole grain bread cubes
Directions
- Saute vegetables and apple in butter, in medium saucepan.
- Add chicken stock, poultry seasoning, and parsley.
- Heat to boiling, simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Add bread cubes and toss with fork until just moistened. Cover saucepan, set aside in a warm place for at least 15 minutes before serving.
