Directions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet.
  2. Add mustard seeds and allow to crackle.
  3. Add Lady Finger followed by paste of green chillies, poppy seeds (khus-khus) and mustard seeds.
  4. Add a pinch of turmeric powder and salt.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Add water as much as is required to cook the Lady Finger.
  7. Add lemon juice.
  8. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  9. Uncover and cook for 3 minutes.
  10. Serve hot with white Basmati rice.
