Sardine Salad

Ingredients
- crisp lettuce leaf, washed and dried
- 2 (4 ounce) cans sardines in oil, drained
- 1 medium red onion, peeled, sliced into rings
- 1 medium green pepper, cleaned and cut into strips
- 3 tablespoons salad oil
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar or 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 -2 garlic clove, crushed
- 2 teaspoons prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
- salt, pepper to taste
Directions
- Arrange lettuce leaves on a serving dish.
- Place sardines, onion rings, and pepper strips over them.
- Combine remaining ingredients; shake well; pour over salad.
- Serve at once.
