Ingredients
- 1 1⁄2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg substitute (such as "Egg Replacer," etc.)
- 1 cup sugar (turbinado)
- 1⁄2 cup applesauce
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1⁄4 cup soymilk
- 1 3⁄4 cups rolled oats
- 1⁄2 cup raisins
- 1⁄2 cup dried cranberries
- 3⁄4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix all of the ingredients together. With wet-hands (or a moistened cookie scoop) put heaping tablespoons of batter on a slightly greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes. They will appear very soft after baking, but they will harden after they cool. Transfer the cookies to a plate after 15 minutes of cooling.
