Salt Steak

This recipe is from my friend Kevin Gallimore. it makes an inferior cut of meat tender and juicy. DO NOT attempt to prepare on a gas grill, as the salt will ruin your heating element! Show more

  1. pepper steak.
  2. coat entire steak thickly with mustard.
  3. coat entire steak thickly with salt.
  4. place steak in brown paper bag.
  5. place steak, bag and all on a 650 degree or hotter charcoal grill.
  6. turn when bag begins to burn.
  7. cook for 30-45 munutes.
  8. remove from grill.
  9. mustard salt coating will have become a crust-- remove this crust.
  10. slice thinly for sandwiches.
