Salisbury Steak

Ingredients
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1⁄2 cup milk (or SILK)
- 1 tablespoon minced onion (i add more)
- 1⁄2 cup fresh breadcrumb
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch sugar
- 1 pinch allspice
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 lb ground beef
FOR GRAVY
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 -2 tablespoon vinegar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch, in
- 1⁄4 cup cold water
Directions
- Mix egg, milk and all and add to ground beef. Mix gently.
- Brown quickly in oil in heated medium-sized skillet.
- Mix ingredients for gravy until blended.
- Pour over meat and simmer on low for 30 minutes.
- Serve with rice or noodles or bread.
