S.o.s. (Beverage)

Lemon vodka is called for in this drink. Russian types are termed limonnaya and flavored with natural lemon essence, or there is a mixed citrus version made by the Swedish Absolut company called Citron. From "The Ultimate Book of Cocktails" by Stuart Walton

Ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 tablespoons lemon-flavored vodka, 1 measure
• 1 1⁄2 tablespoons  peach schnapps, 1 measure
• 3  tablespoons  unsweetened mandarin juice, 2 measures (from a can, if necessary)
• 1  teaspoon  grenadine, 1/4 measure

Directions

1. Shake all the ingredients well with ice, strain into a large cocktail glass. Garnish with a slice of lemon and a mandarin segment on a cocktail stick, and add a short straw.
