Rum Butter Icing

Yields: 2 dozen cookies
Ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons rum
- 1 1⁄2 cups powdered sugar
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Directions
- Melt butter on stove or in microwave.
- Add rum.
- Stir in powdered sugar 1/2 cup at time blending until smooth.
- Add nutmeg.
- Let cool about 15 minutes to thicken before icing cookies, cakes, etc.
