Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 1⁄2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3⁄4 cup sour cream
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups vegetable oil or 4 cups lard
Directions
- Mix all together and knead until smooth. Let sit covered for 5-10 minutes.
- Roll out and make squares. Cut slits in the middle of each square. pull one side vertically through the slit. It will form a bow like shape. It is not obligatory to form the shapes.
- Deep fry till nicely browned.
